I am currently filming with the most incredible and sought after wedding videographers. We are near Portland Oregon with filmmakers from all over the world. This experience is once in a lifetime and Fyvie Films has A LOT in store for 2018... 2019... and BEYOND!
Wedding Videography is my passion and this has enhanced my passion more than I thought imaginable.
Why is 4k resolution so important?
By filming in 4k resolution, we are time proofing your film.
In the near future, all TVs and all computers will be 4k resolution.
You'll notice the quality is incredibly vibrant and the visual clarity is stunning.
In the beginning, a TV’s standard definition was 480x640.
Then in 1996, high definition was introduced with 720x1280 resolution. We thought that was vibrant and incredible! DVDs are becoming a thing of the past since they are still only standard definition, or 720x1280.
Then... in 2005 1080x1920 resolution was introduced and is what many TVs and computer are currently using.
Now, in 2018... you will continue to see 4k resolution. 4k resolution is 4096 pixels wide, and that’s why we call it “4k.”
The result is a beautiful, vibrant, and clear film.
And yes... you even may start to see 6k sneaking it’s way in. But, for now... 4k is the new high definition.
You’ll be in great hands with Fyvie Films! We will time proof your film for years to come.

"A photographer is one thing—but getting to hear your vows, watch all of your the speeches in full, and laugh at your father-in-law getting down on the dance floor for years to come is priceless. That’s right, we’re talking about the importance of hiring a videographer—and a talented one at that."
"That means the option to look back on the family members, who won’t be around forever.
The option for your future children to witness one of the biggest days of your life.
The option to look back on all the moments you missed— your spouse getting ready with their wedding party, your mom freaking out in the bridal suite, or your bridesmaids sneaking a smile as you lace up your gown."
"The latter dies in a matter of days, whereas a film of your big day is forever—"
"Budget for the videographer. You won’t regret it."

I'll start off my sharing that I love winter weddings, so much that my wedding was in Lake Placid in December following a 3ft snow storm.
However, this is the last winter wedding we will be editing this year and it's "bitter"sweet. It was definitely a COLD season and as of March 6th, it's not getting any warmer.
Despite all of the cold days though, James and Maria's wedding felt like a heat wave. It was in the 30's during the day and it felt like a hot summer's day... well, not really... but you get it if you live in upstate NY.
The number one regret I always hear from couples is that they didn't hire a videographer. Is it extra to your budget? Sure! Is it an investment that you'll never regret? Absolutely!
When my husband I were getting married, all I wanted was the perfect vintage dress and a professional videographer. I found both! And to this day, we don't regret one dime spent when hiring a high quality videographer. I can wholeheartedly share with all brides that I feel it's necessity.
Our videographer made it easy for us by scheduling a payment plan. I would love to do the same for you. A few smaller payments can make budgeting your videographer a whole lot easier.
You will not regret hiring a professional videographer, + here is why:
